Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us regarding your inquiry. To adjust shelves, slide the shelf by moving it forward and lifting it upward. To replace shelves, insert the rear of the shelf into any pair of shelf rails and carefully push the shelf back into position, making sure the shelf clips go in the notch in the liner. - Jessica
