“Can this model be used in an unheated garage. During the winter time, the temp can drop below freezing. If this model is not compatible with garage use, can you please recommend a model that is? Thanks”

Hi, Mike. Checking the Use&Care Guide, it states to not install the refrigerator where the temperature will drop below 45°F (7°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C) or the compressor will be unable to maintain proper temperatures. This information can be found under the “Location” section in the Use&Care Guide for every one of our refrigerator/freezers. Should you have other questions, let us know! ~Margaret

Please try again later.I have one in my garage it’s been there since 2005 great thing about it is that when it’s cold outside it doesn’t run because of the thermostat knows when to turn on and knows when to turn off the only time it runs is in the summer so it’ll last you a long time.
