• The ice cubes are cube shaped but quite small, maybe 1/4 of the size of a normal ice cube.

• They're "pyramid-shaped". It doesn't keep up with our old icemaker which was crescent shaped. I don't recommend this refrigerator if your family uses a lot of ice. We had to buy a countertop ice maker.
