The front panel will open by pulling on the sides near mid height. the screen will then lift out to be washed by hand with dish soap in cold water . The job should take less than ten minutes total.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, Kimber! These are the steps when cleaning the air filter: 1. Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards. 2. Push the vent handle to the Vent Closed position(where applicable). 3. Open the front panel. 4. Grasp the filter by the center and pull up and out. 5. Wash the filter using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse filter thoroughly. Gently shake excess water from the filter. Be sure filter is thoroughly dry before replacing. 6.
