A:Answer This unit is meant for the the water to puddle up and the fan splash water on its components to cool it off. Terrible idea in my opinion. I did drill a hole in the bottom where the water puddles and put a a drain adapter. If you just let the water puddle, it will make a loud water splashing noise which is very irritating. There is a hole right below the compressor for condensation, but it only drips a little.
