“Does this ice maker shut off when there's excessive ice”

• It has a full sensor and will turn red light in when the tray is full, will stop making new ice and as the old ice sits and melts will turn back on and make more ice when sensor is clear again.

• Hi Dia - the unit will stop producing ice when the ice storage area is full.
