Can't speak on if Best Buy is willing to take the fridge back, but it should fit easily through your opening if the doors come off. Our narrowest opening was 30-31", which was a very narrow fit (the movers had to take off the fridge doors). The movers had to really take their time to slowly maneuver the fridge.
