Q: QuestionMy current oven measures 26 1/4 by 41 7/8. Will this oven fit? Will they simply need to cut the hole a bit larger?

• A:Answer Hi Kathy, thank you for your question. For Frigidaire Model FCWM2727AS, your current opening of 26 1/4" W × 41 7/8" H is close but not an exact fit. The height is at the maximum limit and may fit very tightly, but the width is too large compared to the required cutout range of about 24 7/8" to 25 1/4". This means the oven would not fit securely as-is, and instead of cutting the opening larger, adjustments such as filler strips or cabinet modifications would be needed to properly support and secure the unit. — Reed

• A:Answer Thank you for your question. For the 27″ Frigidaire built‑in Electric Wall Oven / Microwave combination unit, replacing just the microwave portion is typically not supported. The appliance is designed as a single, integrated unit — the oven and microwave share the same housing, mounting structure, and power connection. Because of this integrated design, there is no widely documented or manufacturer‑approved standalone microwave “insert” that can simply slide into the existing opening in place of the original microwave. If the microwave component fails, the more reliable option is often to replace the entire combo unit, or consider installing separate wall‑oven and microwave appliances for added flexibility. - Jessica
