Hi Nita! The Frigidaire FRFN2813AF features a standard freezer-mounted automatic ice maker that produces crescent (square-ish) ice cubes. Based on typical operation patterns for this type of unit: So at any given moment, the ice maker usually dumps 6–10 cubes into the bin. It will continue these cycles until the bin is full and the shut-off arm is raised. If your freezer is set at the recommended 0°F (−18°C) and you've allowed for 24–48 hours of stabilization after setup, this is the expected performance. Production may slow if: The freezer temperature is higher than 0°F The ice-maker thermostat warms slowly Water pressure/flow is reduced, or filtered water is too warm - Maico
