“If I put a dehumidifer in my basement will it take the moisture out of the rooms upstairs?”

• That may be a stretch - I live in a one floor house and it takes care of the floor.

• NO you must also get one for upstairs. They tell you the size of the area/room it handles. I have two for basement (1800 sq ft) one for upstairs bedroom.

• Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Dehumidifier model FAD301NWD covers approximately 400sq ft. and the amount of moisture that is removed will be based on the humidity level in your garage. We do not recommend that you use this dehumidifier to remove the humidity in the upstairs level as it may not reach that distance. We suggest that a second dehumidifier is purchased to place on upper level of your home.
