  • QuestionCan the doors be reversed to other side? Thanks!

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Yes. It is delivered with hinges on the right, I followed the instructions provided and switched mine to hinges on the left due to our garage layout. Instead of laying it down as directed in the instructions, I moved mine over to a ledge where I could access the underside of the front and change everything over to lessen the risk of internal parts being compromised by being laid flat. It was a little more difficult to maneuver and required a 2nd set of hands to steady the door once it was free to reposition it but went fine the rest of the way.

  • QuestionIs there a matching upright freezer? If there is, what is the model number?

    Asked by Steve.

    • Answer FFUE2024AW is the model number. I am not certain that Best Buy sells it though. I had purchased mine thru the "orange" big box home improvement store "hint hint" this past January and liked it enough that I wanted the refrigerator to match. Oddly enough, they don't sell the fridge, Best Buy was the only place I could find it and I've had it now since July. Both have had no issues. Both kept in a garage. I did purchase an internet connected temperature monitoring system to keep an eye on that in case one does go whacky.

  • QuestionHi this fridge was delivered the middle back has styrofoam under the plastic piece and a heavy plastic wrap behind it. Should I remove this? It seems really plastic stuck in there

    Asked by Mike.

    • Answer Thank you for your question. For Frigidaire FRAE2024AW 20.0 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Single-Door Refrigerator, the styrofoam and plastic materials you’re seeing at the back are typically part of the factory insulation and airflow design, not loose packaging that needs to be removed. ✔️ What it likely is Based on Frigidaire’s installation and service documentation: Styrofoam behind rear panels is often insulation or airflow channel material Some plastic-covered components are part of the rear cover, cooling system ducting, or insulation injection area These materials are used to maintain cooling efficiency and proper airflow inside the cabinet Manufacturers also note that insulation and related components: Are not harmful to operation if left in place Should not be removed unless explicitly identified as packaging ⚠️ What NOT to remove. - Jessica

  • QuestionI want to buy this Frigidaire 20.0 cu garage single door, but I have a two door commercial refrigerator on wheels. What will the cost be to remove it.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hello there, valued consumer! Based on the Frigidaire U.S. owner’s manual and product guidance, there is no set or included cost for removing an old refrigerator. This is not covered by the product itself. - The manual focuses on installation, placement, and clearances, but does not include appliance removal services or pricing. - Removal of an existing unit (especially a commercial refrigerator on wheels) is considered a separate service handled by the retailer or delivery provider, not Frigidaire. The cost to remove your existing two-door commercial refrigerator will depend on: - The retailer (e.g., Home Depot, Best Buy, etc.) - Whether you purchased delivery + haul-away service - The size/weight and accessibility of your current unit Typical cost range (industry standard): - Free to ~$50 - If bundled with delivery/promotions - $25–$100+ - Standard haul-away fee - Higher fees possible - For large/commercial units or difficult removal (stairs, tight spaces) You’ll want to confirm directly with the retailer where you plan to purchase. Since your current unit is commercial and on wheels, be sure to mention that, as it may affect pricing or service eligibility Bottom line: Frigidaire does not set or charge a removal cost. This is handled by the store or delivery service, and fees vary accordingly. - Maico

  • QuestionWhat is the lowest temperature I can set to?

    Asked by kangbo79.

    • Answer Hi there, kangbo79! The FRAE2024AW Frigidaire 20 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Single-Door Refrigerator, the lowest temperature you can set typically ranges from 35°F to 46°F (1.6°C to 7.7°C). This refrigerator is designed for standard cooling and storage needs, not for freezing food, so the temperatures won't dip into freezing territory. The unit is marketed as “Garage Ready,” meaning it can perform well in environments with fluctuating temperatures, but it still follows typical refrigerator temperature limits. If you're looking for the lowest safe setting, it would likely be around 35°F for optimal cooling without freezing your items. However, if you set it any lower than that, you might risk freezing some of your contents, especially if you're storing things like fruits or vegetables. - Maico
