“Does this really cool 350 sq. ft? I've read from a lot of places that 8000 BTU generally cools up to 200 sq. ft.”

My room is about 300 sq ft and this nice unit does a great job, it's the little ac that could. It does however take a good time to cool the entire room (maybe 30 min on a really hot day), so if you want something to cool 300sq ft quickly, it might not be for you.
