• Look at my installation pics. You DO need a window as the unit does three things: 1) blows cool air, 2) extracts indoor hot air, 3) exhausts hot air outside. No need to remove any windows, frames, or mosquito screens.

• You need to vent it to the outside so it is not blowing out hot air into the room you're trying to cool.
