QuestionI have had issues with water dripping and soaking the carpet. So i put the drain hose out the top and some days it doesn't drain at all but other days it drains like a gallon. I've read that in cool mode this shouldn't happen but it is.

- Answer Hi Paula! When the bottom tray is full, you will possibly receive a “P1” message on your display. Which will alert you to drain the tray. You would carefully move the air conditioner to a drain location, remove the bottom drain plug and let the water drain away. During the dehumidifying mode, you will need a garden hose (sold separately) to drain the condensate from the unit.I hope this helps! -Thanks!-

QuestionMy window is 19"wide. The minimum width of the thing you put in the window as stated in the manual is 26.6". Can I still use this unit?

- Answer You can still use this but you will need a saw or something to cut the panel down to 19"

- Answer Take the plug out of the water spout in back and run a hose to a sink or to the outside. Worked for me.

- Answer Hello, Yes, you need to run the hose out a window. The unit blows out the Hot air. Without venting it (putting the hose out the window) you are just blowing that hot air into your room. Every A/C will have that same issue. Also, note that the Unit needs to be close to the window as the Hose is only so long and is over 5 inches around. IF you can live with that, this is a great unit and will keep your room cool, but your electric bill will go up.

- Answer Not in package. You may have to improvise if you put unit in the doorway to vent heated air from the unit. It comes with a couple of sliding plastic pieces that fit into a window that the exhaust hose locks into. You may be able to mount this on a cut piece of 12"X8' plywood to fit in and seal the door gap of a slider.

- Answer no you can not but you can use a piece of ply wood and cut a circle in the ply wood and attach it and that would all work

QuestionAnyone having an issue with this unit dumping large amounts of water on cool mod? It's SOAKING MY CARPET. . Never have ran it in dry mode. 2 weeks old.

- Answer I had the same problem. Brand new unit in cool mode within 3 hours it was leaking water from the bottom. The plug in bottom drain was fully inserted and the screw on cap was tight. I called frigidaire and the said it must be defective so I brought it back to the store. Not sure if that particular unit was defective or the design is defective.

QuestionHow long is the hose? For the space that I need to cool, I will need to put the hose in a window in an adjacent room, so I want to make sure the hose on any machine will be long enough to extend that distance without creating problems.
