“Will the unit still work if it you have to lay it on its side during transit to your home?”

• It will, but like any other refrigeration unit, it should be returned to the upright position for several hours prior to turning it on. This allows the oil in the compressor to return to its proper location.

• As with any condenser unit products, air conditioner, dehumidifier, refrigerator etc, if you lay it on it’s side or back leave it upright for a couple of hours before operating it again.

• Yes, the instructions on the carton and the setup guide tells you to keep it upright for a couple of hours prior to plugging it in and operating it for the first time.
