can this unit be vented via a casement window? null

I tried and failed. If you are really handy you could fashion a custom baffle but I chose to install the exhaust vent through the wall like a dryer install. You need to exhaust heat from the compressor and prevent warm outside air from entering the room. Hope this helps.

No, it cannot. The idea is to place this in a window and be able to seal it. With a casement window the gap to fill would be difficult and too large.
