• Yes it works both horizontally and vertically. The window pieces provided should work with any size window

• It only goes up to up to 50 inches but you could drill two new holes to extend it to 53 inches.

• it works for both vertical and horizontal windows, it has an adjustable slide so it fits whichever size window required
