“I plan to use this unit as a backup when our power fails so I will be using it with a generator. What is the power draw in start up watts, then continuous operating watts?Amps? It wil be used with a generator via heavy duty Ext cord OK?”

http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Specsheets/FFPA0822U1_0320_EN.pdf Spec sheet states 9amps @ 115V, so I assume starting watts is 1035. I assume the 877 watts (cool) is the operating power consumption.

We were able to see that the recommended amps are 15 amps. We were unable to locate the starting watts, however, we were able to see the cooling watts are 877.
