According to the earlier answer, P1 code means bottom tray needs to be emptied out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.P1 code means the bottom tray is full [as in full of water] and the solution is to "Carefully move the unit to a drain location, remove the bottom drain plug and let the water drain away. Restart the machine until the 'P1' symbol disappears. If error repeats, call for service." Since you just got the unit, it's unlikely you have water in the bottom tray, but there may be something wrong with the tray or the unit's electronics. The bottom tray is also only supposed to fill with water after extended use in "Dry" mode only. When the unit is used in Fan" mode or "Cool" mode, you shouldn't have condensation with the unit. Might try taking the tray in and out and see if it resets on its own after unplugging/replugging. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bottom tray is full and needs to be drained then. You wouldn't see that error if you use the provided hose on the upper drain outlet to continuously drain the condensate to a bucket.
