What is the height required for discharge hose? null

Currently, my discharge hose is centered at 25 inches above the floor. It looks like it could go as high as 36 inches. The bottom of the hose could rest on the floor if necessary.

The hose is quite long, so the height could vary considerably. I think the height could easily go to 4-5 feet, if not higher. I have mine about 6 inches above the ground, since I have very tall windows in the room where it is placed. It works fine this way.
