“the manual is vague about water condensation emptying. if we have on cool in a 50% humidity world, how often would we need to drain the tank? my last unit a Penguin had a nice little plastic bucket incorporated into the unit we could manually drain.”

Hey, badornato! The model you selected can also be manually drained or have a drain hose installed to drain continuously at a nearby sink/pump. Depending on if the humidity is reached everyday at that level, it may require draining every other day.
