Hi Chet! Thank you for your inquiry. The recommended with window dimensions are listed as follows: Height (Min.) 13-1/4" and Width (Min. / Max.) 24" / 36". The recommended window dimensions would be different from the dimensions of the air conditioner, because the adjustable sides have to be factored in. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
