- Answer No it is not. Still a great stove. Self cleaning only cranks the gas up extra high for hrs. and burns everything up for you to clean up later. I'd rather just clean it and save on my gas bill.

QuestionWhen using oven does the heat come out of the vents on oven door or someplace elseFFGF3015LW FRIGIDAIRE MANUAL CLEAN RANGE. This is the closest stove I could find to a simple, basic stove. It would seem companies would design retro basic ranges without any other bells and whistles except timer, clock and placing oven knob on front of stove, not in back which can cause burns reaching over hot burners or food cooking. Older and/or disabled customers need less complicated appliances due to disabilities and/or health issues. Customers in wheelchairs or who may be a little shorter have real difficulty using controls located in back and as high as most are located. Ever heard of the ADA? Some live alone without someone to reach controls for them.
