No, it doesn't have auto defrost. Mine came with a plastic ice scraper. It's not a problem though because there is so little frost. Only about an eighth inch on the top. If you live in a humid area there might be more frost.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no info in the owner's manual. The interior of the freezer does develop ice slowly. If you are defrosting it, you will have to scrap it, and clean up the ice because there is no drain. In the actual fridge, there is a drain plug the drains liquids and condensation. I assume it runs to some type of evaporator. If that is the case, it may be safe to assume there is a mechanism for auto defrosting the cooling system. I have no definite answer though.
