A:AnswerNo, it doesn't have auto defrost. Mine came with a plastic ice scraper. It's not a problem though because there is so little frost. Only about an eighth inch on the top. If you live in a humid area there might be more frost.
A:AnswerHey dccmgb! The plastic piece located within drain hole is part of the shipping material and will need to be removed from the refrigerator FFPE45B2QM. We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerHey Russ! We do not recommend laying the refrigerator on its side as that could cause stress on some of the sealed components. If you do have to transport it on the side we would suggest sitting it in the upright position for 48 hours this will help settle each component to allow for optimum operation. We hope this information helps. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerMy unit is set much colder, because I'm using the freezer to store ice cream. It is currently 32 degrees F (0 degrees C) at the front of the glass shelf directly below the freezer. The setting is at one black square below "Max" on the dial, at a room temperature of 80 degrees F (approximately 26.4 degrees C).
A:AnswerHi, Rick! Thank you for your inquiry. In researching, we were able to see the defrost option on this model is manual. We hope this information was helpful to your shopping experience. -Ciara
A:AnswerIt's really easy. If you open the door and look at the plastic seethrough cover, you will find a small tab on the botttom portion of the cover. Use a small flat tip screwdriver and pry it open. The cover should pop right off. Reinstalling it is as simple as snapping it back in place. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerCut the two pieces of white strapping that go around the box vertically. They are the only things holding it together. The refrigerator is sitting on a cardboard/styrafoam base. Slide the entire top of the box up and off. It will be tight since there is also styrafoam between the outer box and refrigerator sides. Just don't try to pick up the box AFTER you have cut the straps. The refrigerator will fall out the bottom.
A:AnswerApproximately 20.5 inches, but the bottom-rear of the freezer unit slopes back at a slight angle, so there's only about 19.5 inches of clearance at the very back!
