Hey Russ! We do not recommend laying the refrigerator on its side as that could cause stress on some of the sealed components. If you do have to transport it on the side we would suggest sitting it in the upright position for 48 hours this will help settle each component to allow for optimum operation. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The reason you set it upright for 48 hours after laying it on it's side, is to allow the liquid refrigerant to return back to the compressor from the coils. It's not about components seating!
