We researched a spare mini fridge for a long time, always getting close to pulling the trigger but then putting it off. It was one of those purchases that we didn't really need but liked the idea of and figured it'd make life easier and more convenient and all that, but every time, before we'd buy one, we were always like, "oh, it's just lazy". So we pulled the trigger - or I wouldn't be writing this review - and the thing's frigging awesome. We looked at Danby, Kenmore and some other brands and flip flopped between the 2.4 cubic feet models and the 4.5 like this one and couldn't be happier with the decision to go with this fridge. The separate freezer with a real door that opens and closes is a huge plus. I did a big batch of chili recently and ran out of room in our regular fridge and backup freezer and it was awesome to have this space as a failover where I thought it would never be used. So that was great. The fridge keeps beers and water bottles at just a hair above freezing. It's perfect. If I want something ice cold I find myself going to this fridge instead of the regular fridge since I don't have to take into consideration other foods that would be in a normal kitchen fridge when setting the temperature control. I just set it to max when we took it out of the box and went with it. I've actually dialed it back a little bit cause the waters were a little bit too cold believe it or not. Perfect size and capacity for our application and the lock is just an added bonus. Don't love that it's at the bottom but when you see the design, it makes sense. The finish is more of a frosted matte metal than a traditional stainless steel so if you're trying to match some existing stainless you might want to see it in person at a store before making a decision. Personally I like it. Price is awesome - especially if you catch it around this time of year (august/september) and apply any student discounts or coupons you might have. Only negative was the packaging. I opted to pick this up in store and I'm glad I did. There's about half inch styrofoam at the corners and on top and the bottom and that's all that's protecting you from getting a banged up unit upon arrival. Definitely pick it up locally at a best buy instead of ordering somewhere online, and look at the box before you load it into your vehicle and you should be all set. I'm really glad we didn't go lazier and get it delivered. If it costs a couple bucks more and it saves you the hassle of scheduling and repackaging a damaged item for a return, it's worth the drive. Runs almost completely silent and the only time I'm reminded I have it is when the compressor kicks on and that's an almost imperceptible click/thud that lets you know it's on and doing it's thing. Really couldn't be happier and we're glad we finally broke down and got it.

It works really well. I had a previous compact fridge (different brand same size) that all it did was keep the food from going bad in three days. The Frigidaire - 4.5 Cu. Ft. Compact Refrigerator works awesomely well!!! The freezer part it's of good size and it works as intended as well. I am very happy.

Frigerator arrived a day early. We use it for wine,beer, and backup dairy or produce products. Our only notable issue, which is minor, is that the unit makes a gurgling sound, when the compressor starts up. It's quiet, but it's there. It wouldn't have prevented us buying it. We are very happy. The freezer works great.

I purchased this compact refrigerator because my regular refrigerator needed parts and it would take a week for them to arrive. I researched online and went to Costco and Fry's. Best Buys had the best price and this compact refrigerator had a freezer. I was able to fit it in my C Max Ford. A friend helped me unloaded and it was easy to install. The instructions didn't say what a white long part was for, but I looked online and found out it was for unclogging the drain. I still didn't find out how to empty the pan that collects water. Yesterday I bought at Amazon a stand with rollers to keep it off the floor since I am leaving it now and I spare bedroom.

I searched for a mini refrigerator that will fit my new bar. This one is very elegant, keeps my drinks cold, has nough space. Very elegant. Recommended

I needed a fridge for the convenience of not having tons of beers and sodas in my main fridge. This fits the bill for a great price.

We bought 2. Perfect for the casita and outdoor kitchen. Quiet and perfect size.

Purchased on sale. Received item with one major dent in top rear corner, and some minor ones on sides, and also a few scratches. Called Best Buy and was given a 10% credit. Fridge is located in garage so aesthetics don't matter as much otherwise would have returned it. Working well so far, and happy to have a latched freezer door rather than the flap on my old one.

I bought this little refrigerator for my bedroom, and it is the best thing I could have done for hubby and I in terms of comfort. Not noisy at all, very spacious for his otherwise little size, it also has a full width freezer compartment and a very convenient wire rack for cans. I am yet to try the reversible door feature, which I will need to do soon due to modifications in our room. I can't wait to test it, as it will be extremely handy. This is a great addition, not only in terms of functionality and quality, but looks as well. I give it a 10/10.

The fridge looks good. The lock works to keep people from stealing energy drinks at work. The fridge is larger than the traditional mini fridge. I like that the freezer was a separate compartment with a door. There is a drain plug that allows condensation or spilled liquids to drain. It gets very cold. I had a couple of energy drinks freeze and explode.

The compact refrigerator came well-packed, easy to unpack and on the date and time I was told. The refrigerator is all it's supposed to be.There is no excess moisture inside or out, keeps everything cool (has plenty of soda can space) and two dials to adjust both the freezer and refrigerator temperatures as they are supposed to be. Its freezer is expectedly small but sufficient, and a good sized refrigerator compartment for a compact. I've had it running and it is quiet. Very happy I bought this one! Highly rated by a popular Consumer Magazine also.

This fridge a good size and is super quiet, you don't even know it's on. I also love that has a lock with keys to keep unwanted hands off your goodies! Has a freezer compartment and can get drinks ice cold when you blast it.

I was looking for a fridge big enough to hold enough for two people and quiet enough to not hear it running. I was very pleased as this met both my wishes. I cant hear it run at all and it is placed in the same room where i sleep. Honestly very satisfied with this purchase. To give you an idea of capacity, It can hold up to about 3 cases of 12oz cans on the shelves and door space provided. Along with 2 half gallons and then the bin at the bottom. If there was anything I had to say negative about this it would be that the slide out bin at the bottom does not slide out on rails/glide. It is just a free standing bin. But for what i use it for its fine.

I was tired of sharing a fridge with my family, but now I have this small personal fridge for myself! What's awesome is that if I ever want this to be in the kitchen, it would actually have a lock and keys built right in. So how is it? It keeps everything as it should be, and it works. Though I originally had ice cream not freezing entirely on max setting - all I did was increase it over the max setting as there is a variation above it. Maybe this is just for efficiency purposes to their settings but the ice cream became fine after. The back of the fridge under the freezer tends to get stuff partially frozen as well, but I believe its due to the higher max settings I have it at. As far as everything goes within it, it is kept cold indeed! I like getting a cold beer from the door part where the drink slides down, its really neat and best purchase for my room!

So far, this Compact Refrigerator from Frigidaire has worked splendidly! It's just what I was looking for in a compact unit, with regards to both price and size, and it also happens to be rated number one by Consumer Reports among Compact Refrigerators as an added bonus! Highly recommended!

This is a good refrigerator for what it is made for. The shelf will need to be removed to make room for 1gal or half gallon containers like those for orange juice and milk. The drawer works great for smaller lunchmeat sized packages. The freezer will hold 4-6 small packages like small frozen dinners and will keep them frozen. When the temperature is turned down enough to keep food around 40°, anything pressed against the sides or back might freeze, especially around the left rear corner. This refrigerator is very quiet.

Great size has a lot of room Plus has a freezer which most did not . Keeps everything cold and so roomy inside . Nice for your dorm or room

Perfect fit under the bench on a working shop, unit work better that the full size fridge that we have on the kitchen, and the lock on the door is a plus! good deal for your budget

Very nice looking, doesn’t take up too much space. Good storage space, doesn’t go quite as cold as I would like but sufficient for sure. Very quiet!

We ordered this refrigerator for our patio and pool area and love it. It is the perfect size and keeps drinks extremely cold. Love that it has a freezer for ice also.
