White plastic. The left part of the inside door has a vertical soda can storage thing (eloquent I know). You load the cans into the top and they slide down to the bottom. There is also a condiments shelf, as well as a beverage shelf. The shelves are narrower than what you would see in a full sized fridge, but they hold what I put in them just fine. I would advise against a full gallon of milk in the door, but half gallons work just fine. The condiment and beverage shelves have a swinging metal rod which holds things in place. Since the guard rod is mobile, it can present the occasional difficulty, but it holds things in much better than the static walls of most fridges.
