This fridge is NOT loud. I can’t really speak to the freezer door, since I haven’t used that compartment yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A noisy fridge was my worst fear. Relax! You can sit next to it and not be aware of it, compressor running or not. You will not find a quieter fridge, regardless of size. The freezer door snaps shut and poses no problem. The freezer maintains zero F and holds full size ice trays and ice cream containers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not loud or noisy at all. It is actually very quiet. If you pack too many items into the bottom of the refrigerator section the door shelves will bump into those items and may hinder proper door closure. It is just something to be aware of. The door shuts and stays closed quite well unless you have obstructed it from doing so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I must of gotten a defective fridge because 10 days in and it's louder than my big fridge, and a cheap mini fridge from Craigslist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit is a bit loud and annoying while the compressor is running. I measured 55 decibels at the source (compressor). I found this site which assigns a loudness of 40dB to "refrigerator humming". https://www.earq.com/hearing-health/decibels I have only had the unit for <2 days and I found the following in the "Use & Care" manual under the "Temperature Control" section: "After each movement of the control knob, allow the unit to adjust for 24 hours." I am on the second such adjustment in <48 hours. The unit is running constantly and the noise is distracting/annoying. I will reserve judgement, however, until the unit reaches the desired setting/temperature. If it remains running almost constantly, I will have to return the unit. Compressor unit constantly running is not a normal operating function for refrigerators once they have reached operating temperature. As an aside, the USDA recommends a temperature of 40F to properly refrigerate perishable foods. The factory preset setting (3) is NOT sufficient to maintain this internal temperature. My unit is located inside an air-conditioned home with temperatures between 70F-78F. The unit is not in direct sunlight and is on a hard, level surface and has the proper clearances, per the manual (4 inches in rear, 3 inches on sides) . I hope this information helps.
