All responses have been minimum circuit amps that is listed in the spec, of which I can read, 15. I do not think this is what is being asked in the forum questions. If we consider the wattage is 265 watts per hour as advertised and the dorm is running at 120 volt service I think the motor amperage would be more like 2.2 Amps. I am no electrician which is why I posed the question but it iis about the best I can ascertain. https://wattstoamps.com/265-watts-to-amps I took the refrigerator to my sons dorm. There was no push back from the folks monitoring the move in day. For what it is worth to anyone else with the same question.
