Questionexact nature of the dry mode, and and parameters to use drainage hoseexactly when do you have to use the drainage hose? if the unit is on cooling mode or auto mode, must the drainage hose be used? when would you want to use the dry mode, and does the dry mode also cool air - conversely, does the cool mode also dehumidify?

- Answer This is exactly the issue that's causing me to return this item immediately. According to the manual, you MUST have the garden hose attached to run it on AC cooling mode. There is something called "DRY" mode, but which only runs on low and doesn't sound like it would handle the heat which is the reason I bought it….

QuestionDoes This Unit Have an Automatic Restart Function?Does this unit have an automatic restart function in case of a power outage? We need one for a server room so this is important. The summary on the list page said yes but the complete product overview did not mention anything about auto-restart. Thanks.

- Answer Of course .the hot air has to be vented somewhere it removes the hot air and through a vent sends it somewhere else out of the room. through the vent / tube .so yes it must be
