Q: exact nature of the dry mode, and and parameters to use drainage hose
A: This is exactly the issue that's causing me to return this item immediately. According to the manual, you MUST have the garden hose attached to run it on AC cooling mode. There is something called "DRY" mode, but which only runs on low and doesn't sound like it would handle the heat which is the reason I bought it….
