Hello, Karen. We appreciate your inquiry. Yes. In the event of an electrical power outage, the surface burners may be lit manually. To light a surface burner, hold a lit match to the burner head, then slowly turn the surface control knob to lite. Once the burner ignites, push in and turn the knob out of the light, then to the desired flame setting. Use caution when lighting surface burners manually. We hope this information helps! - Christi

Yes, you can.  However,  you will not be able to use the oven, or broiler (electric not gas).
