To light a surface burner, hold a lit match to the burner head, then slowly turn the surface control knob to lite. Once the burner ignites, push in and turn knob out of lite then to the desired flame setting. We hope this information helps. - Maria

- Answer Do a quick look on your building codes it will say the distance between over the range microw wave, convection oven and hood. Remember look also at large pots that you use a lot to ensure you have enough height for them. If you own the home you want to make sure that you can sell the place without having to do work on changing the height to pass an inspection. If you don't own then you wan to make sure you tell the owners etc....
