Yes there is a timer. Can set it in 1/2 hour increments up to 10 hours and then 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. Timer will let you either Delay Start or Delay Stop the unit.

The timer functions once in a 24 hour period. So if you want the unit to do the same thing everyday, then you have to reset the timer each day.

This start/stop feature works for one 24 hr period; if you want to use it tomorrow you need to reset the timer.
