No. It shuts down until the humidity increases back above where you have it set.

No it will shut off when reaches desired humidity level. But I believe there is a setting to have it run continuously as well as leave the fan running

Mine shuts off and does not come back on until the humidity comes back up to where the setting is

No, the fan does NOT run all the time. However, it does run for 2-3 minutes after the humidity level is reached to clear any condensation off the condenser unit. After that period, the unit will shut off completely until the humidity level exceeds the setting.

Hey, EDGE! The fan on the model you selected will turn off after reaching the desired humidity level. Once the humidity rises, the fan will then turn back on. ~Courtney

You need to run the unit continuously for the recommended time period when you first put it in service. After that, you may select your fan speed and humidity level. For the first few days, it will run almost constantly. After the first few days, upon reaching the selected humidity level (assuming it is not significantly below 50%), the fan shuts down until the humidity level rises enough to trigger the unit to engage again.
