I come up with measurement using our house plan. However, I also measured the area of my bedroom personally (I.e., the width and the length of my bedroom area) I also asked the customer service before I bought my aircon and they are patient enough to read the specifications based on my questions prior to purchase. Your question was also once my questions, and the customer service helped me on the description and specification of what BTU I just need in every area of my house. . I am happy with my purchase and actually bought four window type aircon last summer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Multiply the length of the room by the width of the room in feet, the answer is in square feet. Check the box of the ac to see what you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.take a tape measure and measure the length of the room. Then measure the width of the room (across the floor). Always round up to the nearest foot, then take the width and multiply it by the length. Example: 12 feet wide multiplied by 16 feet long = 192 square feet of cooling space. Hope this helps, if still confused when looking at specs on A/C units, go up to the next BTU level and you should be fine.

This can be determined by using the room’s width multiplied by length. This air conditioner FFRE1233S1 will cool a room up to 550 square feet. We hope this information is helpful. Do not hesitate to contact us or via the Q&A forum on this website for any additional assistance. –Thanks!-
