This model is defective by design--the water that is slung appears to smash off of the inside of the case, as well as the condenser (don't ask me how), causing intolerably loud noise that you will not, and should not, tolerate. Don't buy it--you'll simply end up returning it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put this air conditioner in my son's room The only reason I got it is because he was complaining the one that was in there was too loud. This thing is run almost constantly and there have been no complaints. I have never Heard Any type of Splashing noises.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just installed this unit like 3 days ago, and, after the second day, the splashing sound, as well as the overall sound when it goes into cooling mode, is pretty loud. The product description states that it provides quiet operation but I would beg to differ. It's LOUD in my opinion and that splashing sound (when it goes into cooling mode) can get pretty annoying...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use & Care Booklet states that pinging or swishing sound is normal: just water droplets hitting condenser. DOI NOT drill holes in the base to drain water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sounds like it's raining. I'm able to hear my television, unlike my old unit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I get none. If you mount an AC right, you won't.
