“to much noise I have a Frigidaire window unit 6000 btu and it makes quite a bit of noise from the swisher blade hitting the water when I have the unit at an angle towards out the window like the manual recommends but if I have the unit level it doesn't make any noise at all nice and peaceful .what should I do is it normal if it makes noise like that ?”

• Did you remove the drain plug on the bottom of the unit. Make sure it has passed the window frame. There are additional drain plugs you could remove to help the unit discharge the water build up if you are in a hot or high humidity area. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

• I've had no problem with the water hitting the fan blade. My problem has been continued, loud, vibration noise. Perhaps you can contact a Frigidaire technician for a remedy.
