I personally wouldn't because the dehumidifier will constantly be going and running and running because you have the screens

No ,only in closed space. You need a fan to move air. After it's cleaned up.

While it might help a little, I would not think it would be very practical from an efficiency standpoint. You would in essence be heating and dehumidifying the outdoors in the area of the porch and the compressor might run continuously.

If it’s a screened porch open to the air then it’s pointless to have one. You’ll be wasting a lot of energy and have a huge electric bill. It would be running 24/7

Unfortunately, the unit would work its tail off trying, but I don't think it would because the porch is not enclosed.
