A:AnswerI contacted Fridgidaire today via the live chat on their website regarding my dehumidifier that was displaying this error code. It was purchased in 7/2018 and is now 12/2019, so I thought that the 1-year warranty was expired and that they would not be able to do anything. I decided to try anyways, and they stated that this issue is a part of the unit's sealed system, which is actually covered for 5 years! I have to send them a few photos and some additional information, but they will be sending me a replacement unit. I recommend trying this before modifying any of the sensors or wiring internally on your own. (I'm a low voltage electronics tech, so that would have been my next step.. Contact them first!)
A:AnswerI'm not sure of the cubic feet. I have it in a finished basement that is about 1000 SF and 3 separate rooms. It works fine if all the doors are open, but it won't work pulling moisture from a room with the door closed. They say for it to work most efficient to put it in a room and close that door...but I found it works fine for the whole basement with all doors left open to the rooms. 1000 SF by 10 foot ceiling so about 10,000 cubic feet. I have the 50 pint dehumidifier. But when we were at about 90-95% humidity I had to empty it every 12 hours or so. Now that the basement is about 50% humidity I only need to empty it every 2-3 days.
A:AnswerI can't speak for a power outage specifically, but after reading this question, I unplugged it while it was running and let it sit for a good 15 minutes or more. When I plugged it back in, it started running again without having to push the on button. So, my obsevation is yes, it will restart automatically. I hope that helps.
A:AnswerFrom what I researched, it's the same model just the 'F' model is a couple years older and looks different w/ a few changes like where it drains from.
A:AnswerThere is a bit of a lip, and a kind of lid that flaps open when you go to pour. I was able to carry my bucket upstairs to pour outside without spilling. I have trouble carrying a cup of water without spilling, so, pretty effective spill-proof container.
A:AnswerHi Gordy! Thank you for your inquiry. It can depend on the dampness level. A 70 pint dehumidifier with a wet dampness level is recommended for 700 square feet. A very damp or wet dampness level is recommended for 1000 square feet; while a slight or moderate dampness level is recommended for 1500 square feet. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
A:AnswerIt has wheels and can be rolled from room to room. If you plan on carrying it up or down stairs, definitely empty it first and be in good enough condition to safely lift the unit.
A:Answerno it does not. I cut an old garden hose. I purchased replacement parts for the hose at my local hardware store. I think the dehumidifier has a Male end so you need a female end on your hose. good luck
A:AnswerHello Fronna33! The dehumidifier FFAD7033R1 can operate at the lowest temperature of 41°F. We hope this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerHey, Frigidaire Customer! Great Question! It really depends on the humidity level in the room. For a 700 square foot room that feels wet and/or smells musty, has seepage appearing on walls and floors, and even mold growth you may need a 60-70 pint dehumidifier. Whereas a 700 square foot room that often feels damp and often smells musty may only need a 50-pint dehumidifier. Hope this helps! -Alexis
