A:AnswerI purchased the Frigidaire - 70-Pint Dehumidifier - White, Model: FFAD7033R1, SKU: 3265047 this April for about $230.00
You may want to add the extra warranty for around $20.00, they will replace if it fails in the first year. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerThe device is heavy. So be careful removing it from its carton. If one does not have to empty the dehumidifier via the optional hose outlet (the hose bib is the only installation required), there is little to do "out of the box". The retractable handle makes it easier to ease the dehumidifier out of the box. The only "sticking point" I had was removal of the strips of tape that wrap around parts of the device that might come loose during shipment. The tap is very strong, but thin, and adheres strongly to the body of the dehumidifier. In addition, I found it difficult to pry up a corner of the tape to begin its removal (and I have very sturdy thumbnails.)
A:AnswerIt is difficult to say not knowing what your power bill is currently, or how hard the unit would need to work for the area you plan to use it in. I believe it's fair to say that if you do not have a dehumidifier now you would see an observable increase in your bill.
A:AnswerHey Stacy! The dehumidifier FFAD7033R1 will have a setting for continuous drain and when a hose has been attached the bucket will not fill. We hope this information is helpful. Please, do not hesitate to contact us directly or via the Q&A forum on this website for any additional assistance. –Thanks!-
A:Answerwhitehead,
You will not be able to connect additional wiring to your appliance. I recommend you review your installation guide and your owner's manual on page 8 for any additional questions.

A:AnswerGrab the 2 tabs with your thumb & forefinger and pull. There is a little resistance, but the cover will detach.
Also, the filter is attached to this cover & appears to be non-removable from the cover (this filter is almost transparent when clean, so look closely). To clean, rinse under a faucet and shake dry.
A:AnswerI had this same problem with the previous model. It gave an error code EC. On this model that error code is FO.
My previous model lasted 14 mos. it ran fine for the first 12 months. I talked with Electrolux and they said it is a bad control board and since it was out of warranty, would not replace the unit. They also told me there are no replacement parts. They did not make any so when a part goes bad you have to replace the whole unit. I did purchase a new unit wit extended warranty. Hope this is not going to be a recurring problem.
A:AnswerYes it has an adapter that screws into a port and then lets you connect a hose. I have not tried to put the hose all the way in where the adapter attaches. You have to a little extra space to the units right side, your left when facing it, as the adapter sticks out a few inches and if your hose does not bend much it can be a bit of a pain. The attachment is on the opposite side of my old one so I had to get a longer hose to get to the drain.
