I can't speak for a power outage specifically, but after reading this question, I unplugged it while it was running and let it sit for a good 15 minutes or more. When I plugged it back in, it started running again without having to push the on button. So, my obsevation is yes, it will restart automatically. I hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi JMK70! After a power outage, the unit will memorize the last setting and return the unit to the same setting once power is restored.Hope this helps! -Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had a power failure not that long ago and it came right back on with no issue for me. I didn't have to do anything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a very brief power outage last week, had to reset the microwave and the oven panel, but the dehumidifier just turned back on. Granted the outage only lasted about 10 seconds, but I didn't have an interruption.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should restart, since it is a direct on/off. Unless there was a surge to the unit that damaged the circuitry. If you have a GFCI outlet, that may have to be reset to allow current to resume.
