No trouble at all with ours. Shuts off every time it gets full, never an issue and ours fills every day.

Hello Cdub! The dehumidifier FFAD7033R1 should not leak unless the bucket is broken or there is a crack within the appliance. If a power outage occurs then the dehumidifier should turn off. As long as you read the directions and take the blue tape off of the float, the unit will shut off before overflowing.

No issues with this....it shuts off when the bucket is full, or, you can connect a hose and have the hose empty in to a drain.

Used it for several days in a row and didn't always get to it before it automatically turned off. And, you could always set the unit in some sort of "container" to calm your nerves, a shallow cardboard box with a plastic garbage bag liner would be enough.

It has a float in water resevior that turns unit off until emptied
