Our last one lasted us over two years and we ran it all year being in Florida. We just purchased a new one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure about the failure rate but I run this daily and if you program it, it will automatically shut-off when it reaches the desired humidity. I use it in my basement and it has really made a difference.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot say for sure what the failure rate is across all of the 70 pint dehumidifiers out there, but I have had 2 fail at right around a year old. The first one was just out of warranty. The second one should still be covered. Both were used extensively though, running maybe 6-8 hours a day for their lifespan.
