• I have Frigidaire dehumidifier. Used 3.7 amps on high. Unit now about 5 yrs old and still working great. Can get house down to 35% humidity. Longest running dehumidifier. Think because it only uses 3.7 amps on high and lower on medium speed. Wish they would make more on lower amps. Does not raise electric bill.

• According to the specs, it draws 6.7 amps. I use a 15-amp circuit with little else on it and it works fine.

• The amperage, as listed in the manufacturer'a specifications, is 6.7 amps (cool). This amperage applies to Fridgidaire 70 pint dehumidifier model FFAD7033R1.
