“This unit will be in a motor yacht. Once it is started, will it re-start if power is interrupted? We have intermittent power outages and need the unit to pick up where it left off when power is restored.”

Yes--that's the best thing about this model. I've connected it to a timer so it only runs at certain times of the day. All your settings resume when the power comes back on.
