When the condenser is on (not just the fan which sometimes runs on it own to circulate air) there is a gentle flow of mildly warm air above the unit. For me this is good, as I run mine in an unheated basement and the warm air is welcome, and also helps to reduce the relative humidity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Mike, Thank you for your inquiry. Unit model FAD704DWD may produce slight heat when in process of dehumidifying. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The air blowing out of the top of it feels cool, and so does the unit. However, we are using it in our unfinished basement, which may have something to do with the temperature. I hope this little bit of info is helpful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it raised the temp about 3 degrees. I only know because my rowing machine displays the temp in the room and it went from 21 to 24 celsius. Only change was adding this to the cellar, temp outside was consistent all last week.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The return air is warm, not hot. That said, it will heat a room and in the summer when these are usually most needed, I've decided I don't want it competing with my heat pump on very hot days. It already struggles when temps get into the mid to upper 90s. So, I mostly run it at night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does add heat to a room. I think they all must, just by how a dehumidifier works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you should get a net heat gain, most of the power consumed will be heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The fan, which pulls the air through the dehumidifier, does kick air out with a little warmth above the surrounding air temp. In a closed room, this might warm the room slightly by a few degrees...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When mine was still working, it was pretty cool-running.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is cool operating and puts out a nice cool breeze.
