• HI, NickyT! It is very typical for your unit to be warm to touch when in use. This is an appliance that is pulling moisture from the room’s air that requires both a compressor and fan to run quite often.It is also normal that the unit “puts off hot air” from the ventilation louvers. ~ Briana
