Hey there, FishermanJim24! If your dehumidifier is icing up, you may want to raise the humidity % to a higher level as the unit may be working “too hard” for “too long” and needs to stabilize. You may also want to move the unit to a higher location, since heat rises, and the floor would be the coldest area of the room. If it is icing up, then most likely it is going bad and you will need to contact Frigidaire for replacement....the cooling system has a 5 year warranty and unfortunately these units are well known to have freezing problems.

What part of the country and what do you have it set at? Wonder if it's running continuously. Old unit would ice up if it ran 24/7. I leave mine set at 50% and am in the North East. so far no icing. Clean filter when little light goes on. Not sure beyond that.
